gave a yeoman’s effort in designing and editing, even as they prepared for the
visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the United States, slated for April 15-20, 2008.
The USCCB’s Secretary for Communications, Helen Osman, was a strong
leader and enthusiastic backer of the project, and the Catholic Communication
Campaign agreed to fund it as a way of improving media coverage of the
church—a key goal.
